Warner Bros. Pictures has released a second official trailer and theatrical poster for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Tim Burton’s return to his ’80s classic, one that’s enough to make you spill your guts out—rather literally, in Beetlejuice’s case.
Set nearly four decades after the original film, the sequel follows an adult Lydia Deetz who is compelled to summon Beetlejuice once more when her rebellious daughter, Astrid, inadvertently reopens the portal to the afterlife, plunging herself into a chaotic adventure with grotesque ghosts and strange afterlife bureaucracy. The new clip is a brilliant, wild ride through the crazy world of The Ghost with the Most.
“After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.”
